In my role, I have the privilege to work with and advise students as they prepare for the next steps after high school. I love helping students identify who they are, what they love, and how they will accomplish those goals to truly fulfill their purpose in life. My students become like my family, and I treat them as my own.

I believe that students are more than the sum of their grades, activities, and accomplishments. As such, I approach each student as an individual whose future is just as important as their past. I believe in helping students find their best fit, not just a brand name or a continuation of a family legacy. I believe in challenging students to take responsibility and ownership of their college journey, and I am here to help them every step of the way. I am a planner and problem-solver by nature, so these skills are put to good use as I work with students and ensure every box is checked. My goal is not only to help students reach the finish line, but also to do so with excellence, clarity, and confidence.

As a former teacher and guidance counselor in public, private, and even classical schools, I am well-versed in the complex and varied environments that students face in today’s society. Working closely with students and families for over two decades has afforded me a wealth of experience in understanding how to relate well and connect with students. As a Birkman certified professional, I bring a unique perspective and understanding about personalities, needs, and motivators that enhances my role as a consultant. Additionally, as a mom of twins who are in high school, I live out the high school journey every day as a parent , so I appreciate and understand both perspectives firsthand.
